Malls decked up for Valentine

To attract more customers, malls and shopping centers are dishing out products at a more discounted rate.

LUDHIANA: With Valentine's Day round the corner ,city malls wear a busy look. Malls are decked out in red and pink hearts hoping to catch shoppers' eyes.To attract more customers, they are dishing out products at a more discounted rate. Some have started up the shopping festivals whereas some have been organizing the some funny games for the couples to attract them.
City Centre mall in IT Park have started 'Be My Valentine' - a shopping fiesta that is based on the Valentine's theme. On till 2March, 2013, the shopping extravaganza promises a bagful of delights. A shopping binge of Rs five thousand or more one can win you a sparkling Diamond jewellery worth a staggering Rs 2.2 Lakhs in the Mega Draw. Not only this, in daily lucky draws customers can win jewels currency worth Rs three thousand. The Piccadily mall has been decked up on the valentine theme as flowers can be seen all around the corner. The mall has been decked up in the pink and red form whereas Central mall is offering some games that have become the eye catchers amongst the youngsters. After playing the games the couples have been offered free gifts.
Caroline Dangwal, manager in the city centre mall said "We have created a perfect ambience which is zesty and has a flavour of Valentines. The shopping bonanzas as always are irresistible. The mall is providing a superlative experience to visitors who can shop and participate in the mega draw as also daily draws and take away prizes home. Apart from this we have tried to create greater bonding in relationships by setting up a photo opportunity backdrop which can be used by shopping enthusiasts to get memorable photographs clicked."
